About the Council
What is ACC-19?
ACC-19 is the 19th meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council. It is hosted by the Church of Ireland and facilitated by the Anglican Communion Office.
What is the Anglican Consultative Council?
The Anglican Consultative Council (ACC) is one of the four 'Instruments of Communion' of the Anglican Communion. It is the most representative of the Instruments, gathering bishops, clergy and lay people from each of the forty-two member churches every three years. The ACC was founded in 1971 by Resolution 69 of the 1968 Lambeth Conference.
Who can attend?
ACC is for members of the Council — bishops, clergy and lay representatives elected by their provinces. At this ACC-19, we will also welcome other guests, including ecumenical observers, the youth delegation and accredited media.
Resolutions
What guidance is available on resolutions?
Updated for 2026, the Resolutions Group for ACC-19 has shared information and guidance on shaping resolutions that will be discussed at this year's Anglican Consultative Council.
Please read the ACC-19 Resolutions Guidance Paper if you are sending a draft resolution to ACC-19. If you have already submitted a draft resolution, you may wish to refer to the guidance to refine your resolution for the Council discussions.
Got a resolution to submit?
Send draft resolutions to acc19@anglicancommunion.org.

Media Accreditation
Who can apply for Media Accreditation?
Media Accreditation is reserved for media professionals and freelancers who represent an official media organisation, including print, photo, radio, television, film, news agencies and online media. Accreditation is granted on proof of a track record of reporting for media organisations.
For journalists accredited for in-person attendance, accommodation and meal costs will be at the expense of the media teams. Some sessions will be for ACC Members only at the discretion of the ACC Chair.
Are sessions live-streamed?
An online press briefing will be held on 18 June and the opening speeches will be streamed on Sunday 28 June. Accreditation is also available for in-person attendance. Some sessions will be for ACC Members only.
